As a Senior Expert Labour Relations (f/m/x) you will ensure the strategic development of innovative and demand-oriented working conditions. A solution-oriented, holistic consultation on complex issues of participation by the business, the HR community and at the interface to the co-determination bodies or Trade unions are part of this responsible role and also include the following aspects: Strategic preparation of HR trends & future topics in terms of co-determination and control and implementation of these for ZEISS in Germany with the objective of nationwide harmonisation across the various segments
Advising the segment and SBU guidelines as well as the HR interfaces in complex collective labour law issues with regard to co-determination and tariff issues, including monitoring the implementation and preparation of the resulting policy decisions
Design and negotiation of (concern) operational agreements and collective agreements for innovative and demand-oriented working conditions and change processes, as well as the management and consulting of the departments in this respect
Standardisation and provision of templates/framework agreements for the conclusion of collective law regulations at local locations and ensuring compliance with Germany-wide requirements
Support and control of the nationwide Community of Practice Labour Relations with the aim of cross-segment cooperation, coordination and targeted harmonisation of collective law regulations
Independent consulting and project work as a HR expert in strategic, co-determination-relevant large-scale projects in the Group incl. Ensuring and professionalizing the relevant processes
Contact persons for co-determination bodies and trade unions with a view to the active design of sustainable working relationships, reliable preparation and follow-up of committee meetings and appropriate prioritisation
Training of executives, HR employees and works councils on co-determination and collective law issues and the provision and continuous updating of knowledge documents
Completed legal or business studies focusing on labour law or human resources management
5+ years of experience as an in-house expert on co-determination and policy issues in the personnel department of an international group, in a trade union or in the employers' association
proven and extensive knowledge of individual and collective labour law and are familiar in cooperation with co-determination bodies and a strong negotiating competence
Knowledge of collective agreements
a conceptual strength, analytical thinking and a pronounced understanding of economic relationships and entrepreneurial thinking
Efforts to decide and implement and a problem-solving competence
