In the Business Unit Multisensoric CMM (Coordinate Measuring Machines, Coordinate Measuring Machines) of the ZEISS Industry Quality Solutions at the Oberkochen site, we are looking for a dedicated and technology-affine project manager Product Development Coordinate Measurement Technology (m/w/d)

They take responsibility for managing and controlling system development and technology development projects.

You are responsible for planning and organizing projects and keep track of milestone planning, development-based implementation, quality and budget.

They coordinate a multidisciplinary project team with employees from different, partly international locations.

You agree with internal stakeholders such as product management, development department, service, operation and other project managers from the team

They support system architects in negotiating system specifications with product management and drive system-level policy decisions.

They monitor and ensure the progress of the project, with reporting to product line managers and development management.

You have a successfully completed scientific or technical study (machine engineering, mechatronics, electrical engineering, ...).

They bring multi-year professional experience in controlling development projects in system development – ideally, you have experience in system engineering for the industrialization of high-technology.

They have a strong will to design. In addition, you have resilience and the ability to integrate the interests of different disciplines into a balanced, common approach while always keeping the essentials in mind.

In their role as project manager, you bring an empathic appearance that allows you to build trusted relationships with internal stakeholders and the project team. Their clear and transparent communication style ensures that all participants are always informed and work together on the success of the project.
