G1-2 Dean of the University Medicine Göttingen is looking for the earliest possible date: Research assistant*in (w/m/d) for media analytics and the use of artificial intelligence in teaching in the project “Digital Teaching Hub Niedersachsen” Full time, 38.5 hours per week, limited to 30.09.2028 The UMG is part of the nationwide joint project “Digital Teaching Hub Niedersachsen” to promote and further develop digital teaching at universities. The project focuses on close cooperation with other Lower Saxony universities to build a sustainable service network for digital teaching between universities. In addition, the project aims to define possibilities and framework conditions specifically for the use of artificial intelligence (AI) in teaching and to develop suitable support offers for teachers and students in the group. You play a key role in the networking of the support offerings for teachers in digital teaching between the partners (50%) and the course for a future-oriented integration of AI applications into teaching and learning in Lower Saxony (50%). Your tasks include:

in the subproject “Mediendidaktik” (in close cooperation with the coordinating body for digital teaching in the field of medical didactics of the UMG): Inter-universal networking of the UMG in the project-related exchange formats Take stock of the resources available at the UMG to support digital teaching with relevance for the joint project Development of high-school and local training and further education offerings as well as service structures for digital teaching Continuous demand analysis and sustainable development of support services in the field of digital teaching Evaluation of project measures at the site and in the context

in the subproject “KI in the Teaching”: Research, analysis and evaluation of AI-based technologies for study, teaching and examinations Developing cross-level recommendations, regulations and measures to use AI in teaching and testing Identification of local development and clarification requirements regarding the use of AI applications in teaching Presentation and implementation of the developed recommendations, regulations and measures at the UMG and the advice of the teachers Development and testing of new AI teaching scenarios together with UMG leaders and in combination as well as sustainable documentation, provision and evaluation of results Participation in the conversion of high-school examination formats in the sense of a competence-oriented AI-assisted examination

You have a high affinity for digital learning technologies and ideally bring experience in project management, preferably in higher education. In addition, you are characterized by the following qualifications and characteristics:

a completed university degree in a relevant field (e.g. communications and media sciences, educational sciences, psychology and cognition sciences, (media) informatics or related disciplines) Experience in advising teachers and developing training and OER materials for the use of digital tools in teaching (Pre-)knowledge in the field of artificial intelligence and experience with the use in teaching safe handling of collaborative tools and platforms Interest in working in a dynamic field and the willingness to work on new topics, especially in the field of artificial intelligence pronounced communication and organizational strength, in particular in the academic context independent, structured and solution-oriented operation
