In our cross-site security team, together with the product teams, we ensure that we deliver safe and reliable products to our customers. You will become part of the Oberkochen site and take over the following tasks:

Definition and operational responsibility for implementing the Secure Development Lifecycle of our Messtechnik products

Implementation and Review of Security Risk Management, including Threat Modeling and Code Reviews, over the entire product lifecycle

Development and integration of security measures in close cooperation with the team, tailored to the specific needs and risks of the products

Promote security culture and understandable communication of complex security concepts to stakeholders, as well as technical guidance from security engineers from various departments.

Ensuring compliance with international security standards and legal requirements, including the Cyber Resilience Act, through joint development of policies and procedures, and implementation of compliance assessments.

Implementation and evaluation of innovative security solutions and technologies to improve product protection and data security

Complete studies in the field of computer science, information security or a comparable subject area.

Knowledge of information security, including threat modeling, risk assessment and security architectures. Experience with modern security solutions and technologies such as cloud security and IoT security.

Confidence with common security frameworks, standards and best practices such as IEC 62443, ISO 27001, Cyber Resilience Act (CRA) and NIS-2.

Strong leadership skills to promote a security culture as well as excellent communication skills to understand complex security concepts and to advise stakeholders.

Relevant certifications such as CISSP or CCSP are desirable. Ready to continue training and adapt to new safety standards and technologies.

Experience in working with international teams and ability to develop security strategies that are tailored to Zeiss' global markets and customers.

Flowing English knowledge in word and writing, German of advantage.
