We are looking for you for the Kulturamt der Landeshauptstadt Stuttgart. The place is to be occupied in part-time (75 %) and first terminated until 31.12.2025.

The Culture Promotion Department supports current developments in the Stuttgart cultural scene. This includes the financial support of cultural institutions and the advice of cultural actors. As part of a 25-strong collegial team, you support in the course of budget advice. Based on the verification of evidence of use, you will develop different scenarios, prepare financial data and prepare communication to bodies.

A job that enthuses you

• on the basis of financially relevant data of the funded institution, you can create overviews and scenarios in the course of budgetary advice
• They supported the department management in the systematic calculation of funding approaches, identify possible synergies and develop evaluation criteria for individual cost points in grants
• They are involved in communication with committees and grant recipients, check details of the budget templates to be created and work on responding to requests
• They work in the budgeting, budget implementation and budgetary monitoring
• They shall examine the evidence of the use of the assisted cultural institutions and projects on the basis of the grant decisions and the submitted economic plans, balance sheets or Profit and loss account
• the assessment of business questions for the Department of Cultural Development and advice for colleagues is one of your tasks

Your profile that fits us

• a degree as a graduate manager (FH) or Bachelor of Arts (Public Management, Cultural Management) or a comparable administrative or business degree
• good expertise in the right to grant and business management (evaluation of balance sheets and profit and loss accounts) are advantageous
• good MS-Excel knowledge
• Detailed orientation, team skills and a careful and independent way of working complete your personality
• Interest in the cultural life of Stuttgart
