Training as a mechatronics technician (m/f/d)

You want to know how mechanics, electrical and control technology are playing together? As a mechatronic at Mentor, you will be there from the outset: you assemble plants, put them into operation and ensure their smooth operation. During your three-and-a-half-year training, you are going through our departments of equipment construction, construction, electronics development, maintenance and serial care - accompanied by experienced instructors. You learn this during your training: Production of individual parts by milling, turning and drilling Installation of equipment Reading of schematics Electrical wiring of control cabinets Start-up of sensors, actuators and PLC controls Functional testing of plants before transfer Testing, maintenance and troubleshooting of mechanical, electrical and control systems Creating maintenance reports and error logs You will visit the Heinrich-Hertz-Berufskolleg in Düsseldorf. For optimal preparation for your training, you will complete a basic course in our workshop in Velbert in the first four months.
