Project Manager Logistics - Production (m/f/d)

In Germany, the focus of business is on the production, distribution and reconditioning of packaging systems made of steel and plastic. IBC (Intermediate Bulk Container) is produced and reconditioned at the Mendig site with about 100 employees.

Team management & operational control: You run the team and control the operational processes You guide the logistics team professionally and organizationally You distribute tasks in the team, coordinate the workflows and monitor the achievement of targets You motivate, coach and develop employees through training, feedback and regular promotion You coordinate the logistics and transport processes and guide the daily logistics processes from the delivery of new products to the collection of used packaging You ensure smooth coordination between customers, transport service providers and internal departments Logistics & Transport Coordination: Management and monitoring of daily logistics processes from the delivery of new products to the collection of used packaging Ensuring smooth coordination between customers, transport service providers and internal departments Quick analysis and solution of operational problems or deviations in the transport process Basic knowledge in customs to support international movement of goods Responsibility for compliance with schedules, costs and quality standards Production & inventory planning: Planning, control and optimization of production processes to ensure continuous material flow Monitoring of stocks and creation and implementation of inventory planning including annual inventory Process optimization & supplier management Analysis, optimization and further development of existing logistics and supply chain processes

You have a degree in logistics, business, supply chain management or a comparable qualification You have multi-year professional experience (at least 2 years) in supply chain management, ideally with leadership responsibility You have well-founded know-how in road transport logistics, production planning and inventory management as well as basic knowledge in customs You are safe in handling ERP systems and have very good MS Office skills You work analytically and structured with pronounced process understanding You are strong in communication, enforceable and have a team-oriented leadership style as well as very good German skills (C1 level) and good English skills (B2 level)
