We are looking for veterinary and consumer protection: (m/w/d), animal welfare (focus on small animals), animal health control EC 14 TvöD/VKA | indefinite | Full time | in parttime Your task:

• private animal holdings (focus: small animals) due to advertisements or risk assessment (after-)control, including animals reviewing and assessing posture conditions
• arrange and enforce measures, where appropriate, within the scope of the above-mentioned controls
• attitudes in which small animals with breeding characteristics are increased, control and, if necessary, issue oral orders on site and initiate administrative procedures
• judge dogs with regard to the presence of increased aggressiveness
• Investigate and create animal health certificates

Your qualification:

• a degree in veterinary medicine and an approbation as a veterinarian (m/w/d) in Germany

In addition, bring:

• well-founded expertise in the field of special veterinary administration law with regard to animal welfare, animal health control, animal welfare law and medicine law, and in general administrative law
• with a view to external service activities a high degree of integrity, enforcement and conflictability combined with good communicative skills
• the willingness to act outside the usual hours of service and to participate in the call of veterinarians (m/w/d) of the Veterinary and Consumer Protection Office
• Class B driver's license and the willingness to make your own car for service trips against compensation after the Nds. Use the travel cost regulation
• German knowledge at level C1
• a non-release guidance certificate (release only after adjustment)
