The Department of Internal Medicine – Cardiology, Diabetology and Conservative Intensive Medicine has 70 beds, including 14 intensive beds. The department provides over 4,000 patients per year with a wide range of acute and chronic diseases. All invasive and non-invasive diagnostic and therapeutic measures are carried out.

The clinic maintains a 24-hour readiness to supply acute coronary syndromes. It is a DDG certified diabetes center. The clinic, together with the other departments, represents the medical occupation of the emergency medical service vehicle of the fire department in Berlin-Schöneberg.
