(Junior) Project Manager for Space Projects (m/f/d)

Our subsidiary RPG Radiometer Physics GmbH, based in Meckenheim, has many years of experience in the development and production of high-frequency and waveguide components. The focus is on the integration of these components into complex research and measurement instruments. The RPG offers customized solutions for meteorology and aerospace. • Project planning & appointment – Creating and managing project schedules, coordinated with the defined milestones.

• Resource planning – assignments and administration of project tasks as well as control of resource utilization.

• Cost management – capture the expenditure and preparation of cost reports for management.

• Risk management – Identify, evaluate and minimize project risks to reduce their impact.

• Quality management – ensure that all quality standards and specifications are complied with – in close cooperation with the quality engineer.

• Communication & Customer Management – Coordinating and communicating with team members, customers and suppliers.

• Project monitoring & control – monitoring the progress of the project (including reports and protocols), identifying deviations and introducing corrective measures together with the team.

• Complete studies (B.Sc., M.Sc. or comparable qualification) in engineering, natural or electrical engineering (e.g. mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, physics).

• Embossed technical interest and enthusiasm for project management.

• Flowing German and English knowledge in word and writing as well as very good communication and presentation skills.

• Embossed team and cooperation capability.

• Self-responsible work – prioritization of tasks and independent problem solving.

• Experiences in the leadership of small, interdisciplinary teams (e.g. 2‐5 people).

• Strong analytical and conceptual skills to evaluate data, risks and project alternatives.

• Embossed organisational and prioritization capabilities – efficient management of dates, resources and documentation.
