The current plant portfolio in the field of battery storage comprises Germany, the Netherlands and UK on the generation of core markets ca. 400 MW, with more than 1.7 GW in construction. In the medium term, the plant portfolio will continue to grow in the GW sector. Local teams are established to strengthen the maintenance in the decentralized battery storage business. As a team lead, you are responsible for the availability and maintenance of the RWE Generation SE battery storage power plants in the South Germany region, taking into account technical, safety-relevant, economic and legal framework conditions. You act as a problem solver: with technical excellence and entrepreneurial vision, your team with seniority and strong social competence is building up and contributes significantly to raising the operation of our battery storage power plants to a new level. We are looking for a local maintenance manager (d/w/m) who, with expertise in the fields of electrical engineering, maintenance and work release procedures, contributes to the safe and efficient operation of the systems with the highest possible availability. Responsible for the professional and disciplinary leadership of the local maintenance team. Responsible for availability and costs including downtime planning and processing for the associated systems. Responsible for implementing the maintenance, spare parts and partner company strategies. Responsible for vulnerability analyses and Cause determination of complex disorders incl. Development of remedial measures (including technical clarification, IFU, MOD). Responsible for the ordering of specialist companies, specialist personnel, spare parts and the processing of framework and service contracts. Responsible for HSE on the battery storage area, including perception of the role as VEFK in the area of responsibility. Control and monitoring of all measures to comply with statutory requirements (e.g. BetrSichV, AwSV, Dangerous Goods Regulation etc.) within the area of responsibility.

Complete study in the field of electrical engineering with at least 5 years of professional experience in the field of activity. Experience in employee management. Special knowledge in the areas of budget and availability planning and maintenance, maintenance processing, work release and unlocking and partner company management. Economic thinking and action combined with strong communication and team skills. Predictive recognition and resolving potential problems. Ready for regular short-term missions and standby service. Current knowledge of German and English in word and writing (C1).
