Production Employee - Microtechnology (m/f/d)

With our two MBE reactors, we support the epitaxial growth processes of In, Al, Ga, AsP/GaAs heterostructures to ensure flexibility and sustainability both for development and volume production. As experts for the production of fiber-coupled laser diode modules, we offer a variety of solutions to meet the different requirements of our customers. Our modules pass through strict burn-in procedures and are subject to careful quality control before they are shipped.

For our location in Dortmund, we have a job in full time as a production employee (m/w/d) in the field of microtechnology in the clean room at the next possible time.Your tasks contribute significantly to the success of our company and we offer you the opportunity to develop in a future-oriented company.

Your tasks

• Work in the Laboratory and clean room environment
• Operation of production facilities, in particular:
• Manual assembly and operation of nasschemical processes
• Manual assembly and operation of Plasma coating and etching systems
• Operation of Bonding and Wiring Processes
• Implementation of Quality controls (microscopy, SEM, profilometry, resistance measurements)
• Work in Test laboratories for the functional testing of semi- and final products
• Production and process-specific documentation in database systems
• Ensuring the cleaning room by daily and weekly cleaning routines
• Refilling of chemicals and professional disposal of waste
• Introduction and training of new and other employees in plants and processes
• Implementation of production tasks according to Production plans of the superior
• Reporting of product deviations to superiors and quality engineers
• Compliance with 5S methodology
• compliance with ESD, cleanliness and product safety guidelines
• Responsibility for personal safety and the safety of others
• Compliance with all Department and production documentation

Required qualifications / competencies

• First professional experience in the microelectronics industry desirable
• Basic knowledge in Excel - Processing
• Target-oriented, structured working in the team according to specifications
• Technical understanding of microtechnological processes
• good knowledge of German, basic knowledge of spoken and written English
• Engaged, flexible and reliable work setting

Training

• Technical training, preferably in the field of microsystem technology or a comparable qualification of advantage, no need
• a very good incorporation takes place!

Cooperation/interface

• Daily reporting to the supervisor / production manager on product status, quality, problems, working environment and documentation
• Close daily cooperation with quality engineers in terms of product quality
