Head of Claims and Insurance Management (m/f/d)

Technical and strategic direction: You take over the technical and strategic direction of the Department of Damage and Insurance Law and actively shape the further development of a 6-member team. You shape the content and organizational orientation of the group. If necessary, you represent the area management right and thus assume additional responsibility at management level. Legal advice, claims management: You independently deal with complex legal issues in the right to damage and insurance. You control damages and claims matters from and against corporations and accompany criminally relevant facts within the scope of criminal law protection. Process & Litigation Control: You coordinate legal and dispute proceedings in the law of damages and insurance, control external lawyers and represent the interests of the Group towards claimants and relevant stakeholders. Insurance law & coverage management: You check and process insurance damage, evaluate coverage and liability issues and consistently enforce claims against insurers. Groupwide insurance management: You are responsible for the group-wide insurance management and continuously develop the insurance portfolio taking into account legal and economic risks. Process optimization & digitization: You optimize processes and structures in the legal department, drive digitization initiatives forward.

Education & experience: You have two successfully completed legal State Examina and carry out several years of relevant professional experience in the right to damage and insurance; first leadership experience is advantageous. Leadership & decision strength: You are characterized by decision-making strength and willingness to take responsibility and understand that employees and stakeholders are actively involved in processes and decisions. Analytical competence: You quickly capture complex legal issues, analyze them structured and evaluate them with a holistic view. Communication and implementation competence: You convey legal content to different stakeholders in an address-oriented manner, represent your results convincingly and work in a structured, efficient and solution-oriented manner.
