With great attention to detail, WABE e.V. operates 30 daycare facilities in Hamburg, Schleswig-Holstein, Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania, Hesse and Baden-Württemberg as a recognised child and youth aid institution. At four school locations we are also cooperation partners in the full-day area, operate two parent-child centres and the WABE International School in Pinneberg. For our modern facilities, excellent space and groundbreaking pedagogy concepts, we were awarded the German Kita Prize 2020.

Your perspectives - Our tasks

Who wants to see diligent craftsmen? He must go to the Spechtort. This is hammered, screwed and gardened, which holds the stuff. And after the “work” is done, a leap into the Balebad attracts, the strawberry is spooked out of the garden or rocked to the heart's pleasure.

We meet our 170 children in the woods or apples on the adjacent sprout meadow in Lemsahl-Mellingstedt.

Since 2022 we have been offering places for integration aid as an inclusive kita.

As colourful and diverse as our kitas, as individual and unique are our children.

• They are empathic in dealing with children who bring a special need for support and integrate it patiently into your Kitatag. You have the pleasure of inclusive relationship work, meet your shooters on your personal level of development and promote their individual skills.
• They accompany our kitacians in the individual kita everyday along our open pedagogy of mindfulness. Their work is fully oriented towards the needs of the children.
• They promote the development of children's personality through work in specialized functional spaces and thus ensure a high participation.
• They prepare development reports, funding and treatment plans and coordinate interdisciplinary cooperation with specialist services. You can also exchange with your parents in partnership.
• You are an expert in an educational focus or develop it and inspire the children with your theme.

Your skills - Our expectations

• A completed training as an educator with additional medical education, as a curative teacher or a comparable degree is absolutely necessary. A focus in one of the seven educational areas of Hamburg's educational recommendations is desirable, but we do not presuppose.
• Openness, willingness to learn and teamwork as well as knowledge, experiences or interest in the field of open pedagogy of mindfulness complete your profile.
