Technique with effect In the angiography and intervention radiology (catheter laboratory) at the Vivantes Klinikum Neukölln we work hand in hand together with doctors from radiology, neuroradiology and vascular medicine. Image-based interventions such as thrombectomies, embolizations, chemo and radioembolizations as well as TIPSS are part of everyday clinical practice. Our focus is on therapeutic methods that act directly on humans, for example in strokes, vascular closures or bleeding. For these interventions we use state-of-the-art technologies, including a monoplane and biplane angiography system with C-Bogen-CT (built in 2023), a multi-pose device and a hybrid OP for intraoperative interventions.
