Consultant (f/m/d) IT Investigation and Evaluation Systems

At the Bureau of Technology, Logistics, Service of the Police (PTLS Pol), the department 2 in the field of IT-determination and evaluation systems of the unit 24 will soon be the service post of one/one Consultant (m/d) to occupy. The post is issued in the grade A 14 for the higher information service.

Head of the IT-Determination and Evaluation Systems Division including Budget responsibility, Dismissal of the Head of Unit 24, participation in the leadership and development of the team, participation in the strategic planning and organisation of the workflows, compiling reports and statistics, control and strategic planning of the IT infrastructure; coordination with internal and external bodies, participation in specialist circles and working groups, development and implementation of concepts, strategies and priority programmes, i.e. participation in nationwide meetings of expert groups and stakeholders; Participation in the restructuring of the existing infrastructure / architecture of police applications, as well as advice and support in the implementation and further development of the IT infrastructure of the Baden-Württemberg Police, taking into account the requirements of the integration of the VeRA platform, Further development of the mobility of police specialist applications.

Persons with the following conditions: completed scientific higher education (master or master's degree, state examination or diploma at a university) in an accredited degree course in the field of computer science or in another field suitable for the higher information technology service, as well as the subsequent completion of an additional training course or a three-year professional activity corresponding to its subject. Officials of the higher information service What is expected: knowledge in the field of IT architecture, business IT alignment and the development and operation of complex IT systems, administrative experience in different tasks, including management experience, the activity requires a successful safety review (Ü1) after the LSÜG. Of advantage are: knowledge of Windows, UNIX and macOS/iOS, knowledge of the implementation of operating concepts such as SaaS, PaaS, IaaS and containers, ideally Cloud Foundry, knowledge in the fields of TOGAF and ITIL as well as in the implementation of open source products, experience in project and committee work, communication and team skills, high level of initiative, willingness to perform and willingness to take responsibility.
