Number: MER000428D Mercedes-Benz Cars Operations is responsible for car production in a global network with over 30 plants. In the area of MO/QPC, we are pushing forward, among other things, the digitization of quality – with the aim of intelligently networking and making use of information from development, production and the field. MBQX (Mercedes-Benz Quality eXperience) – an innovative AI-based platform that combines distributed quality data from different systems in a central digital workspace. In this way, complex relationships are visible, analyses are accelerated and sustainable solutions for quality deviations are made possible. We are currently developing MBQX in agile mode, especially with an intuitive user guidance, intelligent search and analysis functions as well as a seamless user experience. The aim is to significantly simplify the daily work of engineers: both through better usability, transparent data and AI-based assistance. As an intern: not working on a theoretical idea, but on a real digital solution with international impact. In doing so, you connect technology, user experience and communication – just what media informatics do. Your responsibilities in our interdisciplinary team of experts: UI/UX design: Development of intuitive surfaces and interaction concepts Customer Journeys: Analysis and Construction of meaningful User Paths with the Personas in Production Mediale Communication: Creating materials for rollout in international works (e.g. presentations, videos, tutorials) Cooperation in an agile team and close coordination with developers Process Digitalization and Harmonization: Support in Identification, Specification and Conception of New Use Cases for Process Digitalization and Harmonization The activity can begin from September 2026.

Studies in Media Informatics, UX Design, Communication Design or Similar Basic knowledge of UI/UX tools (e.g. Figma, Adobe XD) Creativity and feel for user-friendly design Knowledge of agile methods and industrial processes desirable Secure knowledge of German and English in word and language Commitment Team skills Analytical thinking and strategic working Additional information: We are looking forward to your online application with CV, lettering, certificates, current enrollment certificate with a specification of the semester, if necessary.
