SAP Material Master Data Specialist (m/f/d)

Control master data: You maintain and edit material collection data in SAP – from basic data to classification to documents and piece lists for different product areas, creating a reliable basis for engineering, production planning and production planning.

Secure processes and transitions: You take over the implementation of existing digital processes in the technical communication and master data environment, ensure the correct and structured transfer to SAP and accompany installation, release and change processes of PLM objects.

Support and empower engineering: You are the central contact person for engineering in questions about SAP PLM, advise on system and process challenges, provide 1st level support for defined user groups and monitor compliance with the specified standards – so that information along the value creation chain remains in the river.

Data harmonize and optimize: You clean and harmonize old data in close cooperation with engineering, standard parts names, classify historical material strains and carry out mass changes in material strains, piece lists and documents – an important basis for sustainable and efficient processes.

You bring openness to new technologies, in particular AI-based tools, to think about how to support them in the master data environment in the future, and are ready to develop step by step in order to make our processes even more efficient.

B2B market understanding: You have a technical or IT-oriented vocational training and ideally already have experience in maintaining SAP material master files, classifications, documents and piece lists. Focus on SAP: You bring SAP knowledge into the relevant views (e.g. material stem, PLM/engineering environment) and use MS Office safely in everyday work. Experience that carries: Ideally, you are currently self-sufficient and comprehensive SAP engineering master data and ideally know industrial or machine-building relationships in which precise data quality is decisive for the performance of our products. Structure, quality, reliability: You work carefully, structured and quality-consciously, keep track of many parallel requirements and make reliable decisions in the context of predetermined processes – so our data base remains stable and our value creation is moving. Communication that connects: you communicate clearly and at eye level, regularly coordinate with engineering, PPC and production, support users competently – also in training – and bring German knowledge for the daily business as well as ideally basic English knowledge for international names and templates.
