Technical Manager (m/w/d) - Production & Technology

Our client, a high-growth medium-sized company in the manufacturing food industry, is looking for a technical manager (m/w/d) at the next possible time. In this key position, you take responsibility in the field of production and technology. You lead an interdisciplinary team, drive technical projects such as investment, modernization and digitization, and ensure the sustainable availability and efficiency of production facilities. You report directly to the management and work closely with adjacent departments. Ensuring the technical availability and efficiency of production facilities as well as coordination of foreign companies in maintenance, rebuilding and extension measures while maintaining high hygiene requirements Responsibility for budget, investment and maintenance planning as well as planning, controlling and implementing these (e.g. investments, modernization, digitalization) Leadership and further development of an interdisciplinary team and close cooperation with adjacent areas such as production, quality assurance, purchasing and external service providers Compliance with all legal requirements, in particular in the areas of occupational safety, food hygiene and environmental protection

Complete study in the technical field (e.g. mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, industrial engineering) or comparable qualification (e.g. training in the technical field and further training to the technician) Multiannual leadership experience in a manufacturing company in the field of technology and maintenance Experience with investment projects and production and automation technologies Representative leadership skills, communication strength and entrepreneurial thinking Safe handling of ERP systems and common project management tools as well as sound knowledge in technical project management and in cooperation with foreign companies
