The municipal child, youth and family help Frankfurt am Main is an own company of the city of Frankfurt am Main. With our diverse offerings in 34 institutions, more than 300 professionals support the development of children, young people, young adults and families to act independently, responsibly and enable them to participate in the social and cultural life of Frankfurt.

The Kinderheim Rödelheim is an observatory of the city of Frankfurt am Main and offers space for 32 children aged from zero to eleven years, which are accommodated in four age-appropriate groups. Children can be taken at any time of day or night. You are brought by the Youth Office, the police and others in acute crisis situations, at risk, high-grade neglect, after abuse, sexual violence, etc. Children coming as self-reporters are also included. Working in the group service (in one of the following groups: two to five-year-old children, five to eight-year-old children or eight to eleven-year-old children) Child intake and intensive care in acute emergency situations responsible perception of all educational, nursing, organizational and household activities in everyday life sensitive, consistent and clear handling of children as well as independent and responsible management of unpredictable situations and temporary special burdens and crises differentiated observation and description of children and their contacts, preparation of technical opinions for the social service and submission for the family court Participation in meetings with parents and social services and preparation for return to the family of origin or transfer to other institutions or substitute families Takeover of early and late services as well as night readiness services, also on weekends and holidays
