The EUROGATE Container Terminal Wilhelmshaven is Germany's only deep water container terminal. The world's largest ships can start the port at any time regardless of the tide and tide. As a dispatcher in a state-of-the-art terminal operation, you control IT-assisted operations: During the process – water- and land-side – you are a coordinator:in and first contact person for our large-scale engineers. Together with optimal exchange and interlinked cooperation, it ensures efficiency and smooth operation: You have the automatic allocation of transport orders to our major device drivers and all movements at the terminal on your display. Predictively, you secure the scheduled ship handling and exchange with the operational parties. If the processing is acutely disturbed or the productivity is not high enough, you can fix, adjust the work orders for the personnel on the surface and get in touch with the layer line. Ship activities, layer and handling protocols – you support the documentation. Because you are involved in the complex processes as a interaction, your input is in demand for process optimization and productivity enhancement projects.

Commercial training or study completion from forwarding, logistics, shipping or industry – for example as Logistics Manager, forwarding merchant:wife, shipping merchant:wife or the like. First professional practice – as a disponent:in/dispatcher in transport logistics or Port logistics, ideally in container terminal or forwarding Safe handling of numbers and experience in IT-based data management Planning and organisational strength, including the ability to react flexibly and with an overview of new situations, even in work-intensive phases Clear, enforceable and cooperative communication style Good knowledge of English for work in the international port environment The envelope runs around the clock – we build on your use in the three-layer system, even on weekends and holidays
