As a Product Owner Edge Computing Platform, you take responsibility for a platform that reliably and securely operates thousands to tens of thousands of locations – and thus has a direct impact on the digital performance of our company. Tasks that keep you posted: Responsibility You are responsible for the product comprehensively – professionally, technically and economically – and work closely with engineering, architecture, DevOps, security and other product teams. Vision & Strategy: Together with stakeholders, you develop the product vision and roadmap of the edge platform and make sure that it remains scalable, robust and future-proof along the corporate goals. Priority & Backlog Management: You control the backlog, prioritize features, eliminate dependencies between teams and make clear decisions about scope, quality and time to brand. Technology Focus Edge: Focus on topics such as Immutable Infrastructure, Kubernetes-based Edge Cluster, GitOps orchestration, automated commissioning and distributed workload execution – and deploy these platform teams and disciplines. Operational Excellence: You drive self-service automation, monitoring standards, security policies and edge-lifecycle automation to enable teams to deploy quickly, securely and independently. Innovation: You will explore trends around Edge, AI, Kubernetes, Hardware Independence, Orchestrierungtechnologies, Security und Automation – and will develop new platform capabilities. Communication: You communicate transparently with stakeholders, teams and partners, moderate technical decisions and represent the product strategy inside and outside.
