Senior Retail Markets Manager*in - Margin in Mainz (m/f/d)

You are responsible for operating and strategic margin control in your own business with a focus on Consumer Loans and Consumer Deposits You develop and optimise price, conditions and income logic for active and passive products taking into account risk, market environment and competitiveness You analyze and control profitability at product, customer segment, channel and portfolio level You are developing measures to improve Net Interest Income, risk-adjusted margin, and cover in retail business You work closely with IT, marketing, risk, management and market success to implement price, process and product adjustments You evaluate sales channels and their profitability – including conversion, final quality, price elasticity and risk costs You support product and process decisions through quantitative analyses, scenarios and management decision templates You’ll see the further development of the retail market strategy in the context of growth, yield and risk sustainability

You can present a completed degree (Master/Diplom), e.g. in business, finance, banking or controlling You bring multi-year, well-founded experience in retail banking – especially in credit, deposit business, pricing and margin control You have a very good understanding of interest rate business, risk costs, accounting balance sheet logic and profitability management in retail business You think market-oriented and customer-oriented and are at the same time highly profit-driven – you understand profitability as a combination of risk, pricing, channel control, customer segmentation and operational excellence You have proven experience in cooperation with risk, market success, IT, marketing and management You can translate complex economic relationships into decision-making measures and convincing management storylines You are characterized by strong analytical competence, a high level of implementation and a safe handling of commercial control variables You can safely move between management, departments and operational units and make measures that make them economically sensible and feasible at the same time You bring the seniority and independence to work in a small organization with high impact You have very good MS Office knowledge, a safe handling of reporting/BI systems and experience with costing and analysis tools
