Mechanical Design Engineer Steel Building Construction & Plant Design (m/f/d)

You develop and construct complex high-grade steel constructions for machines, plant modules and entire systems – from the concept phase to the production-oriented development. You work daily and routiniert with Creo (3D/2D), structuring assemblies, first set parametrics and soar for a clean drawing dissipation. You are planning and responsible for building layouts as well as setup and foundation plans for our high-tech facilities that are in use worldwide. You plan, calculate and detail steel construction and piping systems – including complete production documents and parts lists for international suppliers. You coordinate and control external statistics, engineering offices and steel construction partners and act as a technical Sparring partner at eye level. You are sure to work with the current standards and guidelines in the steel structure (DIN/EN/ISO) and ensure compliance with all technical and safety requirements. You analyze and evaluate customer requirements technically and economically and develop pragmatic, realizable solutions. You work closely with internal specialist departments, international customers and suppliers and support sales in costing, technical concepts and project planning – even in early supply phases.

Complete degree in mechanical engineering (focus on construction, plant construction, etc.) Multiannual professional experience in the construction of steel construction, plant steel construction, or comparable projects. Very good knowledge of steel construction (steel construction / plant steel construction) and safe handling of the relevant standards (ISO, EN, DIN). Compulsively required: comprehensive CAD experience (ideally Creo) in the 3D and 2D design (assembly management, drawing dissipation, piece list creation). Experience in cooperation with statistics, engineering offices and manufacturing companies – ideally in the international environment. Good IT skills (MS Office, SAP or other ERP systems). Embossed analytical and structured thinking, high problem-solving competence and an independent, responsible working style. Very good knowledge of German (min. C1) as well as good knowledge of English and readiness for occasional international travel.
