Special responsibility for certain data domains, pooling of know-how about existing data (sources) and using various methods in the field of data engineering / analytics Independent technical development and maintenance of global pricing tools (regularly R-based; partly Python) based on professional preparatory work of the central pricing actuariat Responsible development and implementation of Data Science and Analytics Use Case Provision and maintenance of data analytics products in the cloud Expansion of the Analytics Engineering Tool Stacks and the automation processes of the HDI Global (e.g. for local, spear-specific data analyses and risk assessments) Development of Data Engineering Processes Support for the field of use case definition and analysis of internal and external data

Successfully completed studies of (economic) computer science, statistics or data science or comparable training First professional experience in (species) controlling or actuariat, ideally in an industrial insurance company (hilfreich) Project experience with focus in the Data Science / Data Warehouse / BI environment as well as experiences with GitLab CI/CD and Docker desirable Very good systemic understanding of insurance-specific processes and knowledge of data science methods First saving and product knowledge in a data domain desirable as well as good knowledge in data modeling, data workflows, performance optimizations, ETL implementations, ideally with cloud technologies and with APIs Knowledge of statistical information generation from large amounts of data Strong technical orientation with excellent and practical knowledge of software development (including programming languages R, SQL and Python) Above-average analytical skills and a high understanding, in particular in the rapid detection of complex facts High Excellence – Claim for the implementation of projects Good communication and team skills, strong initiative, high commitment and entrepreneurial thinking Very good German knowledge (C1) and good English knowledge (min.
