Branch Manager Transport (m/f/d)

General responsibility for the operational, personnel and economic management of the branch, which works in the Full Truck Load (FTL) area Control, monitoring and continuous optimization of all transport and operations in local and remote traffic Leadership, development and deployment planning of employees (Disposition, Administration, Technology) Implementation of personnel and disciplinary measures in close coordination with the HR department Takeover of the function as a transport manager according to EU and national law incl. Ensuring compliance with all legal requirements Budget planning, cost control and accountability of the branch using relevant key figures FTL-oriented control with focus on vehicle utilization, driver use and process stability Maintenance of existing customer and business partner relationships in the operating daily business (no active acquisition or offer negotiations) Identification of customer potentials and structured forwarding of relevant information to the central key account management Ensuring compliance and further development of quality, safety, environmental and occupational safety standards Initiation and implementation of continuous improvement processes (KVP) to increase efficiency in the FTL business Operational support in day-to-day business (e.g. disposition, personnel control, fault management)

Complete vocational training in transport/logistics Qualification as a transport manager or the willingness to acquire this timely (costs are taken over by the employer) Multiannual experience in the professional and disciplinary leadership of employees in a transport company Comprehensive knowledge in MS Office and TMS systems Current knowledge of German and English Impressed social competence and very good communication skills in contact with employees and customers
