Head of Group IT Vendor Management (m/f/d)

We are looking for a dedicated group management (m/w/d) IT Vendor Management to strengthen our leadership team in the IT-Governance department. In this responsible role, you control and develop our IT service provider portfolio along defined key figures and corporate goals. You establish effective control instruments, create clear governance structures, and enable the organization through transparent roles and responsibilities. In doing so, you combine strategic action, regulatory understanding and management-oriented communication with pleasure in sharing with different disciplines. Leadership and further development of the team in IT Vendor Management Strategic and operational management of the IT service provider portfolio across the entire Vendor Lifecycle Regular assessment, prioritisation and strategic orientation of the portfolio based on defined key figures Development and operation of control instruments that create transparency and align service provider control to corporate objectives Participation in contract negotiations and ensuring contractual, legal, regulatory and internal requirements Monitoring of performance, quality and contractual compliance and deriving appropriate control measures Identification, assessment and management of risks related to external IT service providers Further development of guidelines, processes, roles and responsibilities for effective IT Vendor Management Active monitoring of legal and regulatory developments and deriving practical implementation proposals Positioning IT Vendor Management as an integral function of IT governance and close interconnection with further IT control functions for the continuous further development of the overall management of IT

Completed studies in the field of (economic) informatics, economic or legal sciences or comparable qualifications Insufficient experience in IT Vendor Management, IT purchasing, contract management or in comparable roles leadership experience and joy in developing employees and actively shaping changes willingness to question, develop and redesign existing processes and structures as needed Communication capability with joy of management-oriented control communication and exchange with different disciplines such as IT, law, IT risk, IT compliance, purchasing and auditors (m/w/d) Safe occurrence in negotiations and dealing with internal stakeholders and external service providers Experience gained in the auditing and evaluation of IT contracts, in particular with regard to audit and control rights, order processing and regulatory requirements Knowledge of breakdown and sourcing scenarios, ideally in the context of cloud services, IT security and regulated industries Good understanding of IT compliance, IT law, contract and license management as well as relevant standards such as ISO 27001 and DORA Analytical and entrepreneurial action with know-how in the structured, predictive and address-oriented preparation of complex facts
