Senior Actuary (m/f/d)

Are you looking for a new challenge as an actuary and want to bring your previously acquired experience to a new level? Then you're right with us! As an experienced actuary, you take a leading role in the team and work together with the team to develop the content of the AXA tariff landscape.

As an actuary in the agile actuariat, you will form the AXA tree landscape with your team. Based on the latest statistical modeling methods, you will guide concrete pricing and action recommendations for management, which will be displayed directly in the tariff. You take responsibility for the further development of the tariff and modeling landscape of the division. With enthusiasm for state-of-the-art technologies, you work on open source tools and adapt them to your own ideas. In interdisciplinary exchange, you continuously develop the data-driven portfolio management of AXA-sachversicherung. As part of your activities, you are actively taking responsibility and decision-making. You will discuss your results together with different interfaces such as product management, controlling and risk management and board bodies. You have the opportunity to actively shape the cultural development of AXA towards an agile company. You are a contact person and promote close networking with other actors in the Group (national and international).

You have a very well completed master's degree or a doctorate of mathematics, statistics, economic mathematics, etc. You bring an education to the Aktuar DAV or have worked at least 2 years in an actuariat as a data scientist. You convince by analytical skills combined with an independent and initiative working. You are not only mathematically fit, but you also have an affinity for programming languages (e.g. Python, SQL, Git) and preparation of complex data as well as statistical modeling. You work in the team to complement the personal interests and preferences of all members. You bring communicative skills, in particular you can clearly and address complex issues. Your knowledge urges you to work in unknown technologies and methods. You have knowledge of German and English in word and writing.
