Responsible for all material compliance topics for our products (e.g. Reach/RoHS). Implementation and coordination of product authorisations in the maritime environment. Creation, testing and maintenance of technical documentation such as declarations of conformity, risk assessments and material declarations. Close cooperation with technology, purchasing and suppliers for data acquisition and evaluation of material conformity. Supporting external inspection bodies and certification processes. Support the product development process with regard to regulatory requirements. Monitoring legal changes and deriving of necessary measures. Advising internal stakeholders on standards, guidelines and certification requirements.

completed studies in the field of mechanical engineering, industrial engineering or comparable qualifications; or alternative technical training mechanical engineering with relevant experience. First knowledge of material compliance and international product authorisations – or the clear willingness to work deeply. Experience in dealing with standards, guidelines and legal requirements is desirable. Structured, careful and independent working. High communication capability in exchange with internal teams and external test sites Good knowledge of German and English
