The SOS-Kinderdorf e.V. The SOS-Kinderdorf e.V. is a renowned aid organisation and a free, non-profit supporter of child and youth assistance with 38 facilities throughout the federal territory and around 5,200 employees. The SOS-Hof Bockum (in the district of Lüneburg) is an institution of the SOS Kinderdorf e. V. for the social and professional integration of adult people with mental disabilities. For about 100 people there are differentiated forms of housing and work opportunities in the recognised workshop for disabled people. For our SOS-Hof Bockum, we are looking for a social pedagogue / social scientist as department manager housing (m/w/d) in an indefinite job, full-time (38,5 h/w) Your area of responsibility: In your role as an area manager, you take responsibility for six households and actively shape their development. You control and coordinate the educational, human and financial processes - from budget and occupancy planning to the strategic development of the range of services. Together with your colleagues in the field management as well as with the overall management, you are constantly working to secure and expand the quality and sustainability of the area. You lead a dedicated team of 20 to 24 employees and take responsibility for 43 people aged 18 to 88. You take the targeted employee management and personnel development for your housing groups. For the affected people in your groups, you are responsible for the case- and result-oriented control of the educational key processes and accompany them in their development. With a view to your area, you implement the individual components of the protection concept responsibly and you are committed to implementing the protection of the profession. You work constructively with a variety of cooperation partners. Together with your management team, you will review the technical quality as well as the standards for stationary offers and develop them further.
