Hearing, voice and voice medicine (HSS) is an interdisciplinary diagnostic center for child hearing and speech disorders as well as swallowing and voice disorders in all ages. The polyclinic has an outpatient speech hour with about 3,000 patients: internal contacts per year as well as a daily clinic with more than 30 patients: inside a week. Our team consists of employees: in the fields of medicine, psychology, logopedia and Audiology. An interesting and diverse range of tasks and interdisciplinary work at eye level awaits you. Your tasks: Audits in infants and/or seriously ill children performing subjective and objective measurement methods (e.g. audiometry, impedance measurements, BERA and Otoacoustic emissions (OAE's)) Age-specific selection of measurement methods, evaluation and diagnosis Parental advice and recommendation for further action (therapy recommendations, assessment of therapy procedures) Diagnostics and introduction of hearing aid and cochlear implant supply Documentation and administrative activities Exchange and correspondence with co-treating, hearing aid acoustics: indoors and schools, support for performance applications Equipment and material cleaning Interdisciplinary work in a team with employees: in the fields of medicine, psychology, logopedia and Audiology Cooperation in Research and Teaching This position is limited until 30.04.2028.

Completed vocational training: Audiology-Phoniatrie assistance; HNO audiology assistance; Med-techn. Functional diagnostics or completed (scientific) university studies: hearing technology and Audiology or completed further and further education: Hearing aid acoustics master:in Multiannual professional experience and comprehensive professional knowledge Interest and skills in dealing with infants as well as children of all ages and in part severe health and cognitive restrictions Skills and experience in parental advice and discussion Teamability as a prerequisite for interdisciplinary work Willingness to work intensively into the specific field of hearing and speech studies Language and PC/MS Office skills Self-employed, careful and reliable working methods, self-initiative, motivation and interest in a team as a member of a working group
