Senior Software Developer / Software Architect – Java & Integration Solutions in the Engineering, Visuals & Architecture team (m/f/d)

You are responsible for the holistic architecture and implementation of applications. From conception to design to implementation and maintenance, you accompany the entire lifecycle of complex software systems and ensure sustainable, predictable solutions. Analyzing: Existing application landscapes, even heterogeneous systems, give you expert insights to identify architectural potentials. Design & Designs: You develop and design complex software systems and interfaces adapted to requirements and release cycles. Vote: As an interface between specialist areas, IT and stakeholders, you are looking for clear communication and smooth coordination processes. Replace: Programming requirements in the Java ecosystem are designed for clean, manageable code. Optimize: Development processes analyze and automate recurring processes using modern tools. Integrated: New technologies such as CI/CD, event streaming or cloud solutions are integrated into existing systems. Secure: You can use IT infrastructure, APIs and frameworks such as Spring Boot, JPA, OpenAPI, Docker, Kafka and REST. Responsibilities: architectural decisions and technical solutions are supported, documented and implemented sustainably.

Qualification: Complete university studies in computer science, business informatics, natural sciences or comparable training.

Experience: Multiannual practice in application development and implementation of complex software projects.

Specialization: Very good knowledge in programming paradigms (OO, functional, procedural) and many years of experience in Java and Jakarta EE.

IT knowledge: Secure handling of databases, cloud platforms, build tools as well as APIs and relevant frameworks.

Technology affinity: enthusiasm for modern technologies, automation, cloud solutions and event streaming.

Customer orientation: experience in customer contact, independent work and proactive communication.

Optional knowledge: experience with mainframe systems and the usual tools and languages.

Language knowledge: German at least B2, ideal C1.

Travel readiness: 1 to 2 days a week at the customer on site in Germany, remote work possible in part. Your personality
