At the closest possible time we are looking for you as a superstructure welder:in for the regional repair southwest of DB InfraGO AG at Kornwestheim site This is what you expect during your retraining: We will qualify you for the:to the trained superstructure welder:in (w/m/d). Experience in welding is therefore not absolutely necessary, you will learn this in our courses and training courses. After your retraining, you take the following activities:

• You carry out qualitative welding and grinding operations in the course of maintenance on rails and parts of the switch, for example on the heart pieces, tongues and jaw rails
• Among other things, you are responsible for measuring work and the production of insulation joints in the operating track
• arc-hand welding, thermit welding work and cutting work are carried out independently after the completed courses
• You work mostly outdoors
• Your work begins and ends at your central base, all the necessary materials, modern equipment and measuring instruments as well as vehicles will be put to you. Also your modern workwear is provided and cleaned
• You are going through our internal qualification program, regularly visit further education and are constantly learning

Your profile:

• Ideally, you will bring a completed vocational training in the industrial and technical field, e.g. as a metal manufacturer:in, but at least one school degree - because we will qualify you as:the superstructure welder:in
• You are ready for shiftwork (night, weekend and holiday work) as well as outdoor work
• To achieve internal qualification, you bring commitment and readiness to learn
• You work reliably and are team-ready and flexible
• Class B licence is available and willingness to purchase the C1 or C1E licence at the expense of the employer.
