Manager Operational Excellence Engineering (m/w/d)

Your role Be part of our team at HelloFresh and take over the role of Operational Excellence Engineering (w/m/d/x) in our production facility in Barleben near Magdeburg. In this position, you lead a team of Operational Excellence Engineers and advance continuous improvements in the efficiency and competitiveness of our company. You opt for operating processes, practices and skills to not only meet our business goals and customer expectations, but to exceed them. Together with executives from different areas, you strive for a culture of continuous improvement and develop both people and processes to make the company sustainable. Your responsibility Lead location-wide strategic changes and cross-departmental improvement projects to increase the performance of the site and overall efficiency. Use Lean Six Sigma methods and structured problem solving to promote improvements in the company. Coach and support individuals as well as departments in methods such as lean, problem solution and performance management to implement best practices. Identify opportunities for improving operational KPIs in a strategic and systematic way using lean and world-class manufacturing methods. Work across areas and work with other departments, at all levels to identify and solve problems, share best practices and advance continuous improvements throughout the company. Ensure that all operational processes support the delivery of high-quality products and services to customers. Coache, develop and support team members to develop their skills and create robust development plans for individuals and the team. Provide the necessary support and training to further develop each individual and enable them to implement their projects at the highest level.

Completed studies in a relevant area Proven experience in managing and controlling cross-departmental change projects Excellent leadership and team management skills Relevant experience in performing advanced data analysis with tools such as Excel, Google Sheets, Grafana, Tableau and using these data to influence business decisions Strong skills in prioritization and analytical thinking Experience in project management Excellent problem solving capabilities and the ability to make decisions in a fast-paced production environment Strategic thinking to analyze physical processes compared to system functionality Ability to cross-departmental cooperation with other departments up to senior manager level Building and maintaining strong industrial relations with key stakeholders Very good knowledge of German and English in word and writing
