Be part of our cross-functional design team and actively shape the look of our webshop! In close cooperation with our visual designers and engineers, you advance the development of our design system. An international, flexible and agile working environment awaits you. Your job Together with our designers, you are responsible for the care and further development of our Bonprix Design System. You create new components that are requested by the teams or adapt existing ones and address the requirement up to delivery in the form of a new release creation. You are in close contact with the UX and visual designers inside but also outside our team. Your contribution With your open and communicative way, you come to a cooperative exchange with our product teams. You help teams quickly test and implement their front-end features with the help of our components. Your environment In the design team, you work closely with experienced engineers in an agile environment. Together with our visual designers you will find the perfect basis for implementing our designs. Your freedom As a product-oriented area, we place a lot of emphasis on independent teams. Ideally, you also bring the following: Your training You have a completed study or training in the field of computer science with focus on the front-end development. Your experience You bring experience in the front-end development of web shops and have already worked on a design system at best. Your skills You have profound knowledge with React or another framework (or Web Components) Component-based development semantic HTML and solid knowledge of CSS complete your profile. Basic knowledge of typescript and experience with accessibility as well as knowledge in Figma and CI/CD are also advantageous. Your softskills You can organize yourself well, work independently and proactively. A realistic assessment and prioritization of your work is easy for you. You are motivated, you learn quickly and enjoy the direct communication with colleagues and other teams.
