Construction Mechanic Welding Shipbuilding Equipment (m/f/d)

Control of various welding methods with different degree of automation, position and seam type (e.g. 111 E-hand, 121 UP, 131 MIG, 135 MAG, 136 filling wire, 141 WIG, 311 autogen/solder welding) including associated seam preparation (stump, fill seams) and material classes (W2X, W3X, W11, W01, W02, W5X) Visual testing of the weld seam, control of the seam preparation, as well as requesting or independent implementation of reworking Guidance of employees and trainees as well as coordination of workflows within the workshop and on-board assembly Handling of equipment and tools, operation of program-controlled systems and responsibility for selecting the welding process, materials and welding equipment in compliance with the framework conditions Cooperation and coordination with colleagues in their own business and with other trades in parallel work and flexible implementation of related activities within the organisational unit

Complete vocational training as a construction mechanic:in with the subject of welding technology Qualification (by appropriate tests) and safe handling of the respective welding processes and well-founded experience in a variety of welding techniques and control of at least two welding processes (restricted) Experience and knowledge in the application of welding instructions/WPS (special welding case) and welding table according to training regulations Processing of specialist tasks with predetermined scope of action and decision (e.g. by welding instructions, WPS, welding table) High level of reliability, quality and detail awareness as well as independent and self-responsive work in compliance with safety regulations and strong team skills
