Senior Physician Psychiatry and Psychotherapy

The Städtische Klinikum Karlsruhe is the largest hospital in the Middle Rhine region. The clinic for psychiatry and psychotherapeutic medicine ensures the supply order for the citizens of the city of Karlsruhe through a setting-interdisciplinary and multidisciplinary therapy offer. Our clinic comprises seven in part interference-specific stations, one with a psychosomatic focus and four daily clinics (three in the city of Karlsruhe and one in Ettlingen). In addition, a Psychiatric Institute Labour Office (PIA) and the station-equivalent psychiatric treatment (StäB) are available for our patients. In the clinic, the entire spectrum of mental illnesses is treated at the current state of science using multimodal use of modern psychopharmacotherapy, disorder-specific psychotherapeutic methods, neurostimulation methods and social-psychiatric approaches.
