For the Elite Team at our headquarters in Stuttgart, we are looking for a

(m/w/d) for the cultivation of mother plants with a perspective to take over leadership responsibility

The elite department acts as a link between breeding and production. Its task is to preserve and increase future varieties and to provide plant material for national and international production sites; in each case in compliance with the required hygienic measures and the regular implementation of diagnostic tests.

REQUIREMENTS

• Implementation of horticultural work on the mother plants incl. Monitoring of technical installations
• Implementation of plant protection measures
• Administrative support in achieving and maintaining certification standards
• planting and care of the plant in the corresponding databases
• Organisation of workflows from harvesting of plant material to dispatch
• Support in the planning of phytopathological tests
• Takeover of weekend services in the rolling system

PROFIL

• Funded horticultural education, happy with further education (master, technician) or Bachelor gardening
• Professional experience in ornamental plant construction
• High quality and responsibility awareness and understanding of hygiene measures
• Self-employed and structured work
• Good MS Office knowledge
• English knowledge and first experience with RAM climate computer of advantage
• Engaged personality with passion and feeling for plants
• Willingness to develop and take over leadership responsibility
