In your internship at the MO360 Product Owner Team, this is the focus: developing and testing data-driven applications. Our area MO360 Product Owner (MO/ETS) is responsible for the central design, implementation and control of digitalization for the global production network of Mercedes-Benz Cars Operations (MO). MO360 is our digital backbone for vehicle production, which raises the efficiency and quality of our processes to a new level through Generative AI and other advanced technologies. In a dedicated team, you are working on the design, development and development of MO360 applications – and you are looking for an interface between specialist/customer and our development partners. Analysis and processing of large amounts of data and the conception of analysis and reporting solutions for data-driven decisions

Identification and Conception of New AI/Data Use Cases for Production

Testing and monitoring of the release process of new application versions (including release management)

Close interface work between customer/professional area and development partners: Record, translate and accompany their implementation

Use of Generative AI to systematically link technical data points and support development processes

The activity can start from October 2026.

Studies in the field of data science, (economic) informatics, computer science, (applied) mathematics/statistics, engineering with data/IT reference, digital transformation/business, etc.

Programming skills are required (e.g. Python, SQL, etc.)

First experience or interest in data analysis, application development and testing

German and English knowledge in word and writing

Personal competencies: Above-average commitment and high learning readiness

Analytical way of thinking and structured, reliable functioning

Communication strength and joy in collaboration with interfaces – you can communicate between technical and professional contacts

Own initiative and team capacity and openness for new topics

Willingness to challenge the status quo and drive changes independently
