In order to successfully implement these challenging and interdisciplinary research topics, a professional accompaniment of the management, communication and transformation processes is required within a large, Germany-wide networked consortium of science and industry. The Office of the Platform MaterialDigital at Karlsruhe Institute of Technology (KIT) is the central coordination and management unit of the initiative and is responsible for the coordination between project partners, bodies, sponsors and the scientific and industrial community. Senior Project Manager (w/m/d) Coordination Platform MaterialDigital Institute for Nanotechnology (INT) fixed-term from now on Full time 61.900,00 to 71.200,00 EUR gross per year

You actively participate in the further development of the MaterialDigital platform as a national and European resource, document relevant use cases and design exchange formats as well as governance guidelines for structured cooperation and data interaction. As part of the community engagement, plan, organize and conduct events such as workshops, community meetings and conferences, support community building and actively promote the exchange between projects and knowledge transfer in national and international networks. At the office, you are responsible for coordinating the platform and the BMFTR-funded material digital projects. Support the integration of new projects to the platform and its integration into existing structures and working groups, promote synergies between projects, specialist groups and platform activities and support the coordination with platform-internal work packages (e.g. use cases, workflows, ontologies, community interaction). Supporting the core work groups, you undertake tasks in project management, reporting and documentation, prepare committee meetings organizationally. In communication with project partners, stakeholders and sponsors, you will structure content for reports, presentations and communication formats and actively participate in the external presentation of the platform (website, materials, events).

completed academic studies (Master / Diploma (Uni)), preferably economic engineering, business informatics, business management or comparable multiannual project management experience, ideally in research or collaborative projects and in the coordination of interdisciplinary teams and stakeholders from science, industry and funding institutions Ideally: experience in managing complex, cross-organisational projects as well as supporting digital or IT-related projects very good knowledge of German and English in word and writing strong organisational and coordination capability, independent and responsible operation, ability to decide Team and communication strength as well as strategic thinking independent takeover of co-ordinative tasks, including strategic scope Ideally: experience in committee work and control of network or network Platform structures, capacity to represent the management of the office Remarkable: Moderation and mediation skills Flexibility and adaptability readiness to travel in Germany and abroad Joy in designing platform processes and working in agile, interdisciplinary teams
