Number: MER0003Z40 Large-Cars MB.EA-L is responsible for the digital testing and worldwide testing of prototypes in the top class segment of Mercedes-Benz. In the Digital Backup & Cross-sectional Functions team, we control the digital testing of all Mercedes-Benz vehicles in early development phases, responsible for the development and optimization of our digital simulation methods in the entire vehicle context. In addition, our team is responsible for coordinating and communicating with other specialist departments from the perspective of the overall vehicle test and is thus driving the degree of maturity and quality of our vehicles in early stages. These challenges include: Planning, preparation and implementation of total vehicle tests in digital and hardware-based phases

Evaluation of experiments and simulations to optimize simulation methods

Support in the testing of AI methods for use in the digital vehicle test

Development and training of AI models to accelerate and increase efficiency of simulation methods

Organisation of appointments and meetings to coordinate the individual departments with regard to overall vehicle integration

The activity can begin from May 2026.

Degree course in engineering (machine engineering, vehicle engineering, mechatronics, etc.)

Secure knowledge of German and English in word and writing

Safe handling of MS Office

enthusiasm for vehicles and innovations

Confidential handling of AI models (NN, Surrogat models, LLMs, etc.)

Advanced knowledge in programming (e.g. Python, Matlab, etc.)

Basic knowledge of CAD (Siemens NX, Catia, Solid Edge, etc.)

Commitment and team skills
