disciplinary leadership of about 20 employees Guidance and technical support of employees in implementing projects Combining the planning departments for media production and individual software to build and develop a joint department Responsibility for medium and long-term technological strategy development together with the Head of Division and investors, including support for investment planning Control and controlling the implementation of projects, including EU procurement procedures Budget planning and responsibility partnership cooperation with service providers, including their management Representation of the MDR in ARD working groups

Take this with you: completed university studies in the field of media informatics or technology or computer science or in a comparable field at least 3 years of relevant professional experience or knowledge and skills acquired by a professional career comparable to at least 4 years in the broadcast/software environment technical background in IT with focus on software development projects and/or broadcasting with focus on planning or operation Ideally, the following qualifications and characteristics are also distinguished: professional and disciplinary leadership experience Experience in project management, controlling and controlling projects according to the waterfall model and agile methodology Experience with large software and/or broadcast projects practical IT and technology background, technology affinity and interest in new developments Interest in strategic planning and technology development Experience in the establishment, development and guidance of agile, cross-functional teams Teamability and empathy as well as pronounced communicative skills at all levels of the company and in dealing with partners and service providers Organisational and coordination capability in the complex MDR environment good knowledge of German with regard to comprehensive internal and external communication as well as good English knowledge in word and writing
