You accompany experienced experts in the professional testing of motor vehicles - from classic cars, young cars, sports cars to trucks and buses. You will get insights into the individual areas of a TÜV SÜD Service Center and get to know various tasks such as main and exhaust gas testing as well as the verification of individual vehicle components. In practice, you will use your learned knowledge of automotive testing technology, especially in the field of quality assurance of vehicles. This includes, for example, testing the driving dynamics, measuring emissions or checking the safety systems in compliance with the required standards. You will learn how to document the exams you have conducted and to prepare appropriate opinions according to the valid guidelines You have the opportunity to support projects for the development and optimization of test methods and technologies

Higher education qualification by Abitur, Fachhochschulreife or a professional qualification (e.g. Masterin, technicianin) Good knowledge of science subjects Mathematics and Physics Interest and passion for vehicles and their technology Joy in dealing with people

Your studies take a total of three years and will start on October 1 at the Dual University of Applied Sciences Baden-Württemberg (DHBW) at the Campus Horb. Your practical phases take place on average in a 3-month change in one of our TÜV SÜD Service Centers. However, so that the change of location between theory and practice is as simple as possible for you, in the setting process we are looking together with you to find the place of work that suits you. In addition to your study contract for over 3 years, after successful completion, we guarantee you the takeover and immediately afterwards the shortened training as an officially recognized expert in motor vehicles.
