This makes this job interesting to me: in a responsible and varied position, I take over control and monitoring tasks for the facilities assigned to the Regional Centre East at the “Technical Monitoring Centre”, the local headquarters of the Regional Centre. I monitor our high-voltage systems in the network area of the Regional Center Ost (Südbrandenburg and Saxony) in the function “Services*r Regionalzentrum” and, in cooperation with our central control unit and the staff in the facilities for safe operation and network management in the early and late service (Mondays to Fridays) as well as in the standby service.

As part of the installation, I am familiar with the systems of our transmission network. I then acquire the switching permissions for selected substations and for the Technical Monitoring Centre – this is the prerequisite for the takeover of the tasks as a “Service*r Regional Center”.
