The secondary network area at Stromnetz Berlin operates its own, approximately 7,500 km long communication cable network, consisting of copper and light waveguides and approx. 9.400 cable connections and radio technologies. In the team of digital transmission channels, you are responsible for the secure provision of transmission paths and data connections in the secondary network as well as the construction and trouble-free operation of the system technology of the networks. This allows you to monitor and control the Berlin power distribution network and actively contribute to a secure power supply. A special focus is on digitization and further development of technical and efficient processes. Professional and disciplinary leadership as well as further development of a 27-member team. Leading development talks, securing the further development of employees as an area instructor, as well as responsibility for personnel disposition. Order, project and interface management for the control and execution of orders and projects. Development of implementation concepts and consulting of the specialist planners. Active driving forward our transformation to digital communication network operation and required operating processes. Responsibility for compliance with all occupational safety and accident prevention regulations and technical descriptions. Ensuring quality monitoring and occupational safety requirements. Close cooperation with other areas such as network operation, protection technology, asset management and IT/OT. Participation in readiness and support in crisis management.

A completed university degree, the field of news technology, information technology, computer science, electrical engineering or comparable degree degrees. Leadership or project management experience, ideally in technically shaped teams. Multiannual professional experience in the field of digital transmission routes. Clear communication, decision-making strength and a structured way of working. Good knowledge of network technology and IT security. Passion for leadership, change processes and secure network operation. An open and esteeming communication. Versified handling in order management tools and the ability to identify and successfully introduce digital possibilities.
