(Jun.) Engineer Fiber Optic / Network Engineer (gn) (Maintenance, full-time (40h/week))

In this position, you actively shape the expansion of the glass fiber infrastructure, develop customised solutions and regularly exchange with experienced colleagues. A dynamic team awaits you, offering you numerous opportunities to introduce your skills and fully develop your potential.

Planning and project planning of LWL lines, incl. connection of NE1–NE4 (own construction) Heavy and fine planning of mines in civil engineering and approval and execution planning Projecting, offering and acceptance of KSR and LWL measures Coordination of relocation measures Processing of enquiries by external carriers Creation of connections by patching, splicing, OTDR and damping measurements including documentation of the measurement curves Fiber documentation and trace documentation in AutoCAD, GIS systems and Google Earth

Successfully completed studies in the field of civil engineering, training as an electronics technician for information and telecommunications technology, IT system electronics, specialist in system integration or comparable qualification Experience in the field of fiber optic networks (NE1, NE2 and NE3) and in the decrease of connections by means of OTDR measurements Knowledge in project management, e.g. through internships or previous professional experience Technical understanding as well as an independent, solution- and customer-oriented operation Embossed organizational capacity Willingness to participate occasionally in remunerated readiness Class B driving licence
