For our Organisational Development & Governance programme at the Hamburg site, we are looking for you as (Senior) Project Manager* Banking Innovation & Technology @ Berenberg In an era where digitalization and modern IT infrastructure revolutionize banking, we design a technology-based bank where you work closely with our business units as an IT professional. Our technology teams offer you an environment that presents you with exciting challenges – whether through support and further development of legacy systems or the introduction of modern technologies such as AI, machine learning and highly automated commercial applications. Our IT department with about 300 employees mostly works agilely according to a Scrumban approach and covers areas such as cloud computing, cybersecurity, operations, process and governance, software development and architecture. We are particularly proud to develop almost all our applications in-house, which gives us unique flexibility and innovative strength. Our technology stack includes modern technologies such as Java, Kotlin, TypeScript and Python, CI/CD pipelines, containers, Kubernetes as well as Azure cloud, Azure SQL Database and Oracle Database with PL/SQL. Strategic design and overall control of bank-wide transformation projects with a clear focus on digitalization, IT-modernisation and process optimization Professional leadership and orchestration of interdisciplinary project teams as well as professional interface management on specialist areas, IT teams and external partners Active management of project success through consistent management of scope, time, budget and quality as well as proactive risk management Preparation and presentation of status reports and decision templates for the project board and top management Active contribution to the further development of our project management framework and our team standards to strengthen our internal competence center for PM

In-depth understanding of bank processes, current regulatory (e.g. MaRisk, DORA) and the challenges of digital transformation in banking Multiannual, proven successes in managing complex, strategic IT projects in the banking and financial services environment Sovereign communication at all levels as well as the ability to process complex issues in a comprehensible, structured and decision-making way – from developer team to top management Routinized application of classic (e.g. PMI, PRINCE2) and agiler (e.g. Scrum, SAFe) project management methods, ideally certified The ability to translate strategic visions into concrete roadmaps and to control their operational implementation with pragmatism and outcome orientation It would also be advantageous to: A well-founded understanding of modern IT architectures and technology trends to act with IT experts and architects High level of self-responsibility, design entitlement and the willingness to take over leadership even in critical situations A successfully completed study, preferably business informatics, economics or a comparable qualification German and English skills
