IT system administrator with a focus on networking (m/f/d)

Take overall responsibility for the network infrastructure and further develop strategically and technically. Secure and optimise high availability, performance and IT security. Administration of client, server and network infrastructure. Existing structures analyse and adapt them as required. Identify and fix system disorders in 1st and 2nd level support. Central contact for users – on site and remote. analyse, prioritise and coordinate sustainable solutions. Targeted communication with all relevant interfaces.

Complete training in IT (e.g. specialist system integration) or comparable studies. Multiannual experience in the administration of network infrastructures. Safe handling of firewalls – ideally with Fortinet solutions (e.g. FortiGate). Experience with managed switches (e.g. Aruba Networks, Hewlett Packard Enterprise or comparable). Good knowledge of common network protocols and services (e.g. routing, switching, DNS, DHCP, VPN, NAT). Understanding network security, segmentation and monitoring. Safe handling of typical support requests in the client, server and infrastructure environment (1st and 2nd levels). Self-employed, structured and solution-oriented mode of operation. Teamability and communication strength.
