The Schön Klinik Neustadt is located directly on the Baltic Sea beach of the Lübecker bay. As a center hospital, she ensures medical care in Ostholstein. With specializations in orthopaedics, trauma surgery, neurology and internal medicine, she treats about 50,000 patients in the acute and rehabilitation areas every year. The clinic offers 560 beds and employs more than 1,100 employees. Since 2003 she has been an academic teaching hospital of the University of Lübeck and part of the family-run Schön Klinik Group.

For our Stroke Unit with up to nine supply units for the care of perceptible stroke patients, we are looking for nurses at the next possible time.

Specialized acute care: They take care of the patient's care and monitor monitoring on the Stroke Unit, in particular on lyse therapies, thrombectomy and epileptic seizures, and master the collection of specific scores such as the NIHSS score.

Therapeutic care planning: They are responsible for the planning, implementation and evaluation of care measures and implement them individually, specialized-neurologically and therapeutically, for example in early mobility or the accompaniment of patients with swallowing disorders.

Quality-assured care processes: They carry out nursing quality measures independently on the basis of standards, assessments and scales.

Interdisciplinary teamwork: They work closely and collaboratively in an interdisciplinary team of doctors, therapists and case management.

Continuous competence development: They regularly take part in training to continuously develop your professional skills.

They have completed training as health care and nursing caregivers:in or comparable qualifications and ideally provide experience in supplying neurologically ill patients. They show willingness to participate in a stroke-specific specialist training such as the Stroke Nurse - we also warmly welcome interested newcomers in this regard. They have a friendly and sympathetic appearance, are happy to work independently and independently, bringing a high degree of planning and organizational skills. They master the common applications such as MS Office and have ideally already experience with the ORBIS Hospital Information System. They are ready to work in the 3-shift system as well as on weekends and holidays.
