We are looking for

IT-Servicetechniker:in / Fachinformatiker:in im Bereich Service (m/w/d) Location: Nürtingen bei Stuttgart

In this role, you are part of our interdisciplinary service team consisting of medical experts, instrument experts, application and IT specialists.

You are a contact person about software, network and security. Mainly, you will be supported via remote solutions, rarely with the customer on site, with installations, problem finding as well as maintenance and system updates. Our customers expect our diagnostic systems to be deployed quickly in their medical laboratories, seamless integration into their IT environment, and trouble-free operation of our devices and applications, which is why you are significantly contributing to your customer support!

DISCLOSURE

You support the customer in preparing its IT infrastructure for installing our devices, software and remote support solution – whether in the laboratory, in the data center or in a virtual infrastructure. Our customers then relieve you by phone support, remote diagnostics and quick troubleshooting on our connected devices and systems. You help colleagues: in the field, via telephone/remote connection for installations, maintenance or other IT questions. You plan and run projects or campaigns to provide our customers with new software versions, patches or configuration updates. Our global support team will keep you close contact when problems need to be escalated and to maintain your knowledge level and constantly improve your technical skills.

THE BRINGS

You are a trained specialist or have a comparable degree. With Microsoft Server, you know solutions in physical, virtual and cloud environments and have knowledge in database management (MySQL, Oracle, etc.). To be able to discuss with IT managers of our customers at eye level, you have experience in the fields of network technology and IT security. We are of course very pleased about specific experience in customer support of critical systems or even medical devices/software applications in healthcare. You are precise and disciplined in the documentation and tracking of your projects as well as all activities on customer systems. Flowing and specialist knowledge of German you need for everyday customer contact. In addition, you have very good English skills, so you can network with your colleagues internationally. Although you can work from home for a few days a week in coordination with your colleague, you live close enough to Nürtingen to get to the office a few times a week.
